Quick start Apple Notes on your iPad
When your iPad is locked, simply tap on the screen to start taking notes. For this to work, make sure you turn on the feature in Settings > Notes > Access Notes from Lock Screen. If your iPad has a home button, Press the power button to wake your iPad then tap with your Apple Pencil.
