Bookmarking pages in Notability

Notability can bookmark pages in two ways; using the bookmark icon or annotating on pages in a PDF. The bookmaker icon works on both notebooks you create in the app and PDFs.

Bookmarking single pages

  1. Tap the page icon on the far right side of the tool bar.
  2. Tap the bookmark icon on the top left corner of the page you want to bookmark.

To view the bookmarks later, come to this section and go to the bookmark icon on the top of the sidebar (above the search toolbar).

Bookmarking multiple pages

  1. Tap the page icon on the far right side of the tool bar.
  2. At the bottom of the sidebar, tap Select.
  3. Select all the pages you want select to bookmark then tap the bookmark icon (bottom right side).

Auto bookmarking

With PDFs, whenever you annotate a page, Notability registers it. You can then access all your pages with annotations under the Notes icon (flipped paper icon next to the bookmark icon) on the sidebar.
